Martin Marizcal, Jose Barrera, Yomi Flores, Ruby Guajardo, and Abigail Garza all advanced to State Solo & Ensemble which will take place in May 2010.

In addition to an exciting year overall for Hidalgo, the percussion ensemble has also been invited to perform at the Music for All-Sandy Feldstein National Percussion Festival held in Indianapolis, Indiana-March 4-6, 2010.
