All members in the ensemble perform in the pit for the Opener, Cool
Dreams, and the Ballad. In the opener there is a quad feature played
on a stage in the back of the field (side 2). In the closer the drumline
emerges in a fast and furious manner snaking their way through the
pit and on to the field behind the band. Although this has been done
before it is somewhat unique for the pit or otherwise know as the
front ensemble to be staged on the field. We have chosen to do so
4 steps behind the back hash with amplification.
